Hi,
Since a few days we have a new problem with FEPM. We use WP Mail SMTP + Mailgun to bulk send emails from our site. Everything is working fine except for the notification emails sent when a new announcement is made with FEPM. We have the email sending interval set to “Every hour”. Occasionally, the emails are not sent and stay in the pending state forever. This is not the case for the other notification emails that FEPM is sending. On the other hand, all the other emails sent from our site by other extensions are handed correctly. If we set the email sending interval to “Every 5 minutes”, the backlog is starting to be purged and the pending notification emails are sent.
This problem is new and has started about 2 weeks ago.
Thanks in advance.

This might be wrong. We couldn’t actually check this correctly. Please forget. The problem remains the same, though.
Regards.

If you set “Every 5 minutes” and it works, my suggestion is that you can keep that settings.May 20, 2022 at 2:14 pm #44550Denis MarchandParticipantHi,

It works properly for any other task in our WP site. No problem observed.

It’s the case but I’d like to understand why “Every hour” could be a problem. The interval was set to “Every hour” in order to avoid overloading Mailgun when we are sending numerous notifications from various extensions in our WP site.

If every 5 minutes works, every hour should also work. If still not working, can you give me access to your website to debug?

When a user creates a message, a. Email goes out to the recipient to let them know. This is done on a schedule and seems to use the fep_email_interval_event hook in cron.
When a new announcement is made, however, the emails do not send. The seem to get stuck in a pending status.

Let me know. - AuthorPosts
