    does email notifications automatically get sent for new messages?
    if not is it possible to enable this? without ticking the “alert me of new messages”?

    Also to enable this i do / dont need to use the piping or pop3 feature?

    By default it gets sent.

    To enable email notifications you do not need to use email piping or pop3. If you want your user can send reply directly to that email notifications from their email then you need email piping/pop3.

    Hi there
    I followed the link and made sure each is enabled in the guide.
    But still no email notification been sent out?

    I’ve also enabled an email logger on the site. Definitely no emails being sent out for message notification.

    Is your website is in testing stage? Can you give me access to your website so that i can test? If yes, please create a test admin account and a ftp account which have access to this plugin and send using https://sp-test1.arogga.co/sensitive-information/

    Thank you.
    It seems you are using fep_enable_email_send hook to disable email sending. Please remove this filter and it will work.

    I have temporarily edited this plugin code to omit this check. But when you update this plugin, it will change to original state.

    So please remove this filter from your custom code.
