    Hi,
    I just got the Front End PM Pro.

    I can’t figure out how to create groups with different users in them.
    An exemple is:
    Support
    Sale
    Accounting

    Users of the site should be able to add each group to a conversation based on who should recive it.

    If the Support need the message I add support group.
    If Sale need the message I write to sales.
    If needed the posibility to add both Support and Sale should also be available.

    I think you need to set-up https://sp-test1.arogga.co/docs/front-end-pm-pro/getting-started-2/only-admin/
    You can set “Display as” like “Support”, “Sales” etc

    Okay, but I can’t have a long list with every user on that page.

    Can it work with any group plugin?

    I have testet:

    And when i add the Admin i get:
    Invalid username

    Is there anyway i can implement a group plugin, that can act as a username?

    In settings page you can add your admins, but only one admin in a field. If you want to add more than one admin, you have to customize this plugin. You can hire a developer or contact with us for customization https://sp-test1.arogga.co/contact-us/

    I’m disappointed in this answer, too.

    OK, I have a slightly different approach – two questions.

    1. How can I make the list of recipients under ‘Directory’ into a multi-select list? Currently it only lets me click ‘send message’ on one person at a time.

    2. How would I create a group sending facility? For example ‘all editors’ or ‘all contributors’?

    I thought paying for Pro would offer more flexibility. I’m happy to amend the code if instructed, but I don’t feel I should have to pay a developer for group sending facilities in a group messaging system 😉 Hope you can instruct, FEPM!

    Sorry to disappoint you.
    But no where it is written that PRO version support Group Messaging. All features are linked to docs so that nobody misunderstood anything.

    Answer your question:
    as you are happy to amend the code, assume you have php knowledge.

    1. in class-fep-directory.php line around 71, add another column (div) for checkbox name = fep_mr_to[] and pass user id as value. wrap all column inside a form and form action will be your new message url and form method will be POST. this will fill “To” field with selected users.

    2. For any role you can send announcement by going to Dashboard > Front End PM > All Announcements > New Announcement. Right sidebar there are all roles, just tick which role you want to send this announcement. Remember users cannot reply to announcement.
