I’m not sure… I’ll investigate this and get back to you.
June 6, 2018 at 8:03 pm #14818Steven ClarkeParticipantHi, the messages are coming through now! However, they’re going to the SPAM folder.
Is there a way to strip that “Message Key” from the message subject?
Regards,
SteveJune 6, 2018 at 11:28 pm #14834Shamim HasanKeymasterI registered a user with my email address, use lost password form to send me a password reset link in email, send a test email from your SMTP plugin to my email but i still did not receive a single email.
Can you please recheck you website is sending email correctly? Let me know.

Can i temporarily deactivate your SMTP plugin and install a custom plugin which will log every email in your server instead of actually send email?June 7, 2018 at 3:59 am #14842Steven ClarkeParticipantWow. Okay.

June 7, 2018 at 4:11 am #14845Shamim HasanKeymasterSorry, by mistake i have uploaded wrong version. Please remove shamim-email-log plugin by ftp
June 7, 2018 at 4:14 am #14847Steven ClarkeParticipantPlease tell me how to do that… my sys admin has left the office!
June 7, 2018 at 4:16 am #14850Shamim HasanKeymasterPlease use ftp/file manager then go to your website wp-content/plugins directory and remove shamim-email-log folder.
If you find any difficulty you can give me FTP access.
June 7, 2018 at 4:20 am #14852Steven ClarkeParticipantOkay, it’s done.
June 7, 2018 at 4:32 am #14855Shamim HasanKeymasterI logged email and see that email sent.
Now i re-activate SMTP plugin. Can you please check sendgrid log to see if any email there.June 7, 2018 at 4:42 am #14857Steven ClarkeParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.June 7, 2018 at 4:52 am #14861Shamim HasanKeymasterYes.
Please use any other Mailer in your SMTP plugin setup. If possible use your server SMTP setup.
I see you have “From Email” setup as same domain email. Use this email details to send email.June 7, 2018 at 5:43 am #14863Steven ClarkeParticipantOK, thanks for your help.
June 8, 2018 at 2:04 am #14891Steven ClarkeParticipantHi,
As per your suggestion I’ve replaced the WP SMTP plugin with a working sendmail on the local server. All email is working now. Gmail still things that the Front End PM PRO emails are spam. Can you give me an idea of how to format the emails so that Google doesn’t treat them as spam? I tried sending to a yahoo email address and it did not go to the spam folder.
