Hello
I added my first announcement and it posted fine. But the emails did not send. I have enabled the emails and filled out the Announcement template. What could I be missing? This is urgent, I need to get this resolved.
Thank You.
March 9, 2017 at 10:39 am #3460Shamim HasanKeymasterDid you set time “Announcement sending Interval in minutes.” and “Announcement emails send per interval.”? How much the value? Did you wait that much time? Do your website have visitor? Do your website cron works perfectly?
March 9, 2017 at 9:44 pm #3473Ben ChamblessParticipantHello,
I have the sending interval set to 60 and the emails per interval is 100.
Yes, I waited 24 hours.
Yes it does have visitors.
Looks like it may be a cron job error. I’m getting “cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 3000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received” when I look at my cron job status.
March 9, 2017 at 10:51 pm #3485Ben ChamblessParticipantActually, it looks like there isn’t an issue with cron jobs. I downloaded a plugin to show my cron status and I see the cron schedule “fep_ann_email_interval” but I don’t see any cron events from Front End PM Pro. I also added a wp mail logging plugin and it isn’t showing any emails pending.
March 11, 2017 at 4:50 pm #3501Shamim HasanKeymasterDid you set “Send email to all users when a new announcement is published?”
You will find this settings in Dashboard > Front End PM > Settings > AnnouncementMarch 11, 2017 at 5:45 pm #3504Ben ChamblessParticipantYes I did. I found the issue. I had the free version of the plugin installed from when I tried it out. I had it deactivated but not deleted. I deleted it and the emails began sending. Thanks for your help.
February 4, 2018 at 5:09 pm #10615Dennis SakaParticipantHi, i am having the same issue but unable to delete the free plugin version. Please help. getting an “internal server error” when attempting to delete
February 4, 2018 at 7:38 pm #10619Shamim HasanKeymasteris “Remove Data on Uninstall?” checked?
You can delete plugin via ftp. that will be same effect.
For announcement issue can you please change sending interval to 10 and the emails per interval to 10
and save changes.
Let me know. - AuthorPosts
