After I purchased Front End PM PRO, and uploaded and activated it (also deactivating the free version), I have lost the following options.
- Disable Auto-suggest in To Field.
- Only allow messages to Admins.
I do remember seeing these, even if they were not selectable because they are PRO options, they were visible as a way of showing what options would be available for PRO users. Now that I’m a PRO user, I can’t find these options anywhere. I need to be able to prevent users from sending messages to anyone but admins and these two options seemed like the way.
Please advise.
Thanks
March 23, 2018 at 11:32 am #12550Shamim HasanKeymasterPlease select your admins in Front End PM PRO > Settings > Recipient > FEP Admins (more details in https://sp-test1.arogga.co/docs/front-end-pm-pro/getting-started-2/only-admin/)
This list will be available when users send message. If you want your users can send message only to those admins please block them by “Role to Role Block” feature so that they can not send to any other role. Please see more details in https://sp-test1.arogga.co/docs/front-end-pm-pro/getting-started-2/role-to-role-block/Let me know if you have any doubt.
March 23, 2018 at 2:58 pm #12591STEVEParticipantI followed your guidance and got it to work. However, I would like to achieve the following. Please let me know if this it possible.
Now that the “To” field is hidden and all messages will go directly to the Admin, can I change the header above the Subject field that says “Send Message” to read, “Contact Admin”?
Thanks!
March 23, 2018 at 3:15 pm #12594Shamim HasanKeymasterYou can override
newmessage_form.phptemplate (instruction in https://sp-test1.arogga.co/docs/front-end-pm-pro/customization-front-end-pm-pro/change-templates/ ) to change header OR use shortcode https://sp-test1.arogga.co/docs/front-end-pm/shortcode/fep_shortcode_new_message_form/ in any page/post from where any user can send message to admin (use “to” as admin nicename and “heading” as “Contact Admin” in this shortcode)March 24, 2018 at 2:24 am #12611STEVEParticipantThat worked! Thanks!
